The MOISA-International Society for the Study of Greek and Roman Music and its Cultural Heritage

invites submission of abstracts of papers and posters on the theme of

“Music and the animal world in Hellenic and Roman antiquity”

for a conference to be held in Athens, Greece, from 11-14 July 2016.

The conference will be co-organised by:

the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

and

L’École Française d’Athènes

Papers and posters are expected to contribute novel ideas to the topic of the conference.

Paper presentations should not exceed 20 minutes. Each paper will be followed by a 10 minute

discussion. Posters should be in large format for public display, as a forum for discussion of

work-in-progress. Abstracts should not exceed 150 words.
